This was my first full project using Substance Painter! Although the asset is a few years old by now, I felt like it would still be worth it to share here. Back then, I wanted to explore the process of baking the normals of hi-poly meshes onto low-poly meshes, and this was my first foray into it.

The asset, as old as it is, naturally isn't quite up to my current standard, and lacks certain details such as some level of visible internal components and less moveable parts (the AO map and normals for the mag, for example, were calculated with it inside the gun, creating visual errors if you were to remove it), however, it was still a big milestone for me at the time.

Technically though, it is still game-ready and optimized!
